Moira qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 2005 with an MSc from Kings College London. Moira had previously completed both her BSc (Hons) degree in Equine Science and her BHS (British Horse Society) Stable Managers qualification before deciding to direct her skills into Physiotherapy firstly then on into the Veterinary field. Moira completed her Post Graduate Diploma in Veterinary Physiotherapy in 2010 from the Royal Veterinary College, London to bring together all her previous qualifications and skills. Moira has been able to specialise within human Physiotherapy in providing a unique hand service assessing and treating both acute and chronic conditions from either an Orthopaedic or Neurological origin within the NHS. Also in 2002, Moira spent five months in Kentucky, USA at the renowned Hagyard, Davidson and McGee Equine Hospital as a Veterinary Technician gaining invaluable experiences and helped spur her desire to become a Veterinary Physiotherapist. Moira is now expanding her clinical time within the Veterinary field and her previous experiences both here in the UK and abroad allow her to provide a superb level of knowledge and expertise in treating Veterinary musculoskeletal cases. When Moira is not spending time working, she enjoys spending her time on horseback having had an extensive riding history and previously reaching Grand Prix level Dressage in Germany she likes to keep her riding skills up to scratch. |
